Her passing was confirmed in a online announcement by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.

“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”

Within a published essay in November, she disclosed that she had been found to have acute myeloid leukemia with a rare mutation.

This form of cancer is a cancer that affects the bone marrow and blood cells.
